We had another vibrant and busy summer at Trinity Church with members and friends! Check out the highlights below…
Harrisburg Senators Game, July 24
A fun time at Faith Night at the Senators this summer, complete with Christmas in July, a Senators win, and fireworks following the game!
Women at the Well Paint Night, July 21
A full crowd of women gathered for the WATW’s paint night, led by local art teacher, Kayla Stormer. Everyone worked hard to create their masterpieces, amidst lots of fun and laughter!

Band Concert, July 17
We were honored, as always, to host the Greater Harrisburg Concert Band on Friday night, July 17. The concert had to be moved indoors to the sanctuary due to the smoke and haze caused by the Canadian wildfires, but we had a packed house just the same. Hot dogs and potato chips were served before the concert, and ice cream after, in the fellowship hall. The Greater Harrisburg Concert Band entertained us with festive melodies and energetic rhythms that filled the sanctuary. Thank you to all of our volunteers and to everyone who came out and enjoyed the evening with us! Please enjoy pictures from this wonderful evening below:
Lunches on the Lawn 2026
Lunch on the Lawn was held for five weeks during July and into August. Thursday was our day to eat lunch outside and reconnect with neighbors, some of whom we hadn’t seen since last year. New connections were also made, with people stopping by for a bite to eat or something to drink in the hot weather. We had many good conversations, offered prayer for some, and just enjoyed the weather and company. If you didn’t have a chance to join us, we hope to see you next summer. Just look for the sign in the yard! Scroll through the picture gallery below…
Ice Cream Church August 2025
Trinity on Main hosted “Ice Cream Church” on Saturday, August 16, as a thank-you to St. Peter (Mechanicsburg) and St. Mark (Harrisburg) for the youth events they provide that our Trinity teens attend. There was scripture, prayer, a reflection, singing, and Holy Communion. Students of all ages received backpack tags and a blessing, surrounded by hands, hearts, and the Holy Spirit. Following the benediction, we shared the peace and lined up for delicious hand-cranked ice cream, provided by Daryl and Ja’net Gochenauer, in two flavors: homemade vanilla and peach (with peaches from the Gochenauers’ own trees). Thank you to all who came and enjoyed the service with us! See highlights below.
